When I first started using this app, I was disappointed. I wrote them three letters and the third I asked them for my money back. I wrote them a fourth and said I figured it out and it is exactly what I need.
This is a simple app that allows you to enter your readings, give them a category (ie 2 hrs after eating, etc), you can enter your meds or not (I dont do this) and enter notes or not. You can create reports with graphs, or just a listing of your readings and select the date range. If you have a pad and phone, you can download on both AND you can sync them!
Syncing takes a little while and that was what I was frustrated with with the third letter where I requested my money back.
Editing was a little confusing. The cause of the first letter. Said you could edit the categories. I kept touching the one that said you could add categories and it did nothing. You have to touch the icon in the upper right corner. You are limited as to how many.
The other issue was that I could not see the readings I had entered from my monitor and that was my second letter. Turns out there is a date dial towards the bottom left and you have to adjust that to see them. This is important to remember because it does not automatically allow you to see the next days reading. You have to adjust that dial to read what you input that day. I kept entering my first reading this morning and looking at the list of readings and it wasnt there, I assumed that it would default to the current day in the range, but it does not. So, remember to advance it to the current day.
The date dial allows you to select what months, days, weeks, months to include in your reports. BUT, it also sets the range for viewing the readings. So if you cant see that days reading as stated above, or see dates far enough back, change the date range. That is what confused me because I thought it was just for generating reports.
You have to remember to touch the "Save" in the upper right AFTER touching "Accept" to finish entering the category and date. It does not save it to the records until you do that. I was a little annoyed with that at first, but it really isnt a big deal.
I know that what I just said may deter you, but if you just want a simple app that does not have all that stuff included for weight, recipes, nutrition, etc.; if you just want to enter your readings, generate reports; use it on your pad and phone and sync the two; enter meds and notes if you want, this is the app for you. Once you figure it out, it is a snap and WELL worth the money.
I would suggest that the developer have it default to the current date every day for viewing the reports.
This is going to be great when I go to my next doctor appointment!
